Gonorrhea is a venereal disease which is generally caused due to bacteria named Neisseria Gonorrhea. The disease falls under the category of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) which are triggered to either partner due to the act of intercourse. The disease gradually affects the mucous membrane of genital and urinary tracts. Special precautions should be taken by using condoms while indulging in to copulation to avoid getting such dreaded conditions due to transferring of bacteria. However, the condition majorly differs from male to female.
Common symptoms of the disease may include painful urination and pains in areas surrounding urethra, these symptoms may be observed in both the genders. However, some other conditions that can finalize the triggering of disease may include abnormal bleeding, burning sensation during urinating, vaginal discharge in females, and irritation in the outer areas of vagina.
